Manipur’s COVID-19 situation continues to be grim as the State on Sunday logged as many as 17 deaths relating to the deadly disease.      

With these 17 new COVID-19 deaths, Manipur’s COVID-19 death tally currently stands at 793.     

On the other hand, Manipur registered over 1000 new COVID-19 cases.      

As many as 1032 new COVID-19 cases have emerged in Manipur.

Of these 1032 new cases, 542 are male and 485 are female.   

5 cases have also emerged from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPF) deployed in the State.    

With the detection of these 1032 new COVID-19 cases, Manipur’s active cases tally has jumped to 8482.     

Of the total 8482 active COVID-19 cases in Manipur, 8435 are from the general public and 74 are from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.

Meanwhile, the total COVID–19 cases in Manipur have also risen to 49882. 

As many as 563 persons have also recovered from COVID-19.         

Manipur’s COVID-19 recovery rate has further dropped to 81.40%.
