Manipur: 11-year-old student struck by stray bullet in Imphal 

Manipur Guwahati: After three suspected militants were killed in Cachar in a reported shootout with the Assam Police, the Hmar Inpui has condemned the incident and termed it as a case of "extra-judicial killings".

Imphal: An 11-year-old girl was injured in Imphal, Manipur after allegedly being struck by a stray bullet.

The student residing at the hostel of Princeton School in Imphal East, Manipur, sustained injuries after being struck by a stray bullet on Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 5 pm while she was returning to her hostel room from the school canteen.

Sources reported that the stray bullet originated from a group of miscreants engaged in a heated argument with school authorities regarding donation demands.

She was promptly transported to Raj Medicity Hospital, Imphal, where she is presently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.
