Guwahati: The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has strongly denounced the recent allegations made by Manipur’s State Security Advisor, Kuldiep Singh, suggesting that 900 Kuki militants have infiltrated the state with “malicious intent”.
The KIM asserts that these baseless claims are a deliberate attempt to misinform and target the Kuki-Zo community.

In a press statement, the KIM stated that the real culprits behind the violence in Manipur are the Meitei groups, aided and abetted by the state government.
“These groups, known as Valley-Based Insurgent Groups (VBIGs), have been involved in coordinated attacks against the Kuki-Zo people in collusion with the Manipur State Police, the Arambai Tenggol, and other radical Meiteis,” Kuki Inpi Manipur claimed.
The KIM further emphasized that the persistent attempts to portray the Kuki-Zo people as having transborder links are both ridiculous and appalling. It condemned the “deliberate demonization of the Kuki-Zo community, especially amidst the ongoing state-sponsored genocide against them”.

The KIM demanded that Kuldiep Singh disclose the authenticity of the alleged inputs, including the source agencies such as the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), Directorate General of Military Intelligence (DGMI), Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles (AR), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), or State Intelligence Bureau (SIB).
The KIM urged the media and all stakeholders to “remain vigilant against misinformation that seeks to divert attention from critical issues, including the leaked audio tapes involving Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, the looted armoury, and the evident collusion of the Meitei police with VBIGs, Arambai Tenggol, and radical Meitei armed groups against the Kuki-Zo people”.
