IMPHAL: A joint operation by central and state forces in the southern part of Manipur led to the discovery of an arms depot in an abandoned hideout of miscreants.
The operation was conducted in Hiyanglam Lukak Yangbi village in Kakching district of Manipur.

It resulted in the recovery of a significant cache of weapons and other items, including rice bags.
Despite the efforts, the miscreants managed to escape.
The recovered items, which included various firearms, grenades, shells, and military gear, were handed over to Manipur police for legal procedures.
