Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh has said the state government has submitted a report to union home minister Amit Shah regarding the concerns of people over the Naga peace deal.
Singh on Friday said in Imphal in the sidelines of a programme that Shah has been apprised of the concerns of the people over the Naga deal.

Singh said the state has full trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the home minister Shah that they would keep their commitments on the Indo-Naga peace talks.
He said the state Assembly has adopted two resolutions to protect the territorial integrity of the state.
These resolutions were taken in addition to the twelve similar resolutions adopted by the previous government, Singh added.

The chief minister further said his government will invite the representatives of the Coordination Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) and other stakeholders for discussion before consultations with the Centre on the issue.
The COCOMI, the umbrella body has been protesting seeking assurance from the Centre that the territorial integrity of Manipur is not affected due to the Naga pact.
