Fifteen more people tested positive for Covid-19 in Manipur on Sunday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 172.
While six cases were reported from Thoubal, five were reported from Ukhrul, three from Kangpokpi, and one from Imphal West, officials said.
The cases are of returnees from Mumbai and Delhi, said an official.
Health officials said they will be shifted to Covid care facilities of hospitals in Imphal.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 120. A total of 52 Covid patients of the state have recovered so far.
Among the 16 districts in the state, Churachandpur has recorded the maximum number of cases at 34, of which 17 have recovered.
Pherzawl, the only district with no COVID-19 patient so far, registered three cases on Saturday.
