Mangaldai will host three quarter-final matches and one semi-final match of the Nuruddin Ahmed Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament being conducted by the Assam Cricket Association.
The organizers have made all preparations for holding the matches of the Nuruddin Ahmed Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament.
According to Bipul Jyoti Sarma, an office-bearer of the Mangaldai Sports Association, the matches will be played in Mangaldai Stadium from April 6 next. In the first two-day quarter-final, Jorhat will take on Bongaigaon.
In the next quarter-final of the Nuruddin Ahmed Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament, Nowgong will lock horn with Lakhimpur on April 9 and 10, 2018.
In the third and last quarter-final, Guwahati will face Silchar on April 18 and 19, 2018.
The only semi-final match of the Nuruddin Ahmed Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament to be held in Mangaldai has been scheduled to be played from April 21 to April 23 between the top two teams versus top three teams, added Bipul Jyoti Sarma.
The organizers have expected a good number of spectators to witness the matches of Nuruddin Ahmed Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament to be held in Mangaldai.
