The Kokrajhar district committee of All BTC Bengali Youth Students’ Federation (ABBYSF) has filed an FIR against pro-talk ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika for his inflammatory remark against the Bengali community at the Fakiragram police station on Friday.
The FIR was lodged against Hazarika by Arabinda Seal, the working president of the Kokrajhar district committee of ABBYSF.
In the FIR it is said that the inflammatory comment against the Bengali community has hurt the common feeling and may cause serious criminal intimidation as well as breach of peace against the Bengali speaking people.
The ABBYSF has also urged the police to arrest Mrinal Hazarika under IPC section 153 and 153 A.
It may be mentioned that pro-talk ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika recently said, “The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill must be stopped from being passed (in the Parliament) at any cost. If this does not happen we must go back to the days of 1983. If needed, they (the Bengali people) must face massacre like incidents and thrown out from the state.”
