The issue of Aadhaar cards will start from February across the State. The Aadhaar process was delayed in the State because of the update process of the National Register of Citizens (NRC), the first draft of which was published in the midnight of December 31 last year.
Under the gram panchayat, 33 districts of Assam will get the Aadhaar card from 7995 centres. 28 Aadhaar Seva Kendras have already been set across the State for the smooth running of the process.
