- Para Commandos:
Para commandos are the most trained commandos of the Indian army. The force was floated in 1965 during India-Pakistan war.
They contributed considerably to the defeat of Pakistan in the 1971 and 1999 Kargil wars.
On September 29, 2016, a surgical strike was also carried out by Para Commandos on terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
- Marcos:
Indian Navy’s Special Forces Marcos is a commando force of the entire world apart from the US SEAL commandos which can carry out any operations underwater. Marcos came into being in 1987. There are a total of 1200 Marcos in India.
- Garuda Commandos:
Garuda Commandos are a part of the Indian Air Force with a capacity of 2000 commandos. They have many powerful weapons and specialized in carrying out operations in the airfield. For this, they are given hard training.
4. Ghatak:
These commandos of deadly force are quite powerful and powerful. During the war, the deadly battalions are at the forefront and they are adept at destroying enemy artillery. They are given close training of close battle and man to man assault.
5. National Security Guard:
Black Cat Commandos or NSG Commandos handle internal warfare situations. The National Security Guard was formed in 1984. These soldiers are trained to deal with terrorist attacks and other emergencies.
