Along East legislator Jarkar Gamlin was on Thursday was inducted to the State Cabinet of Arunachal Pradesh in Pema Khandu led BJP government in the State.
The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. B.D. Mishra (Retd.) administered the oath of office and oath of secrecy to the new minister in the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhawan, Itanagar.

The portfolio of the newly-inducted minister would be allocated soon, sources at the Chief Minister’s Office in Itanagar said.
Gamlin, who represents Aalo East constituency in West Siang district, had been holding the post of Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Develoment Agency (APEDA). He had also served as the Transport minister in the previous Nabam Tuki-led government.
First Lady of the State, Neelam Misra, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Speaker of State Legislative Assembly TN Thongdok, State Cabinet Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, members of State Legislative Assembly, senior State bureaucrats, members of Municipal council, public leaders, distinguished guests and invitees were present in the function.
