A Japanese delegation led by Takahito Takeuchi, professor of health and welfare of graduate school of International University of health and welfare, president of Japan Association of Functional Recovery Care and Power Rehabilitation along with officials of National Skill Development co-operation New Delhi visited College of Nursing, Medical Directorate Lamphelpat, government of Manipur for Technical Internship Training Programme(TITP) programme.
During the reception ceremony of Japanese delegates, director of health services, Dr K Rajo stated that five Japanese delegates of Japan Association of Fundamental Recovery Care and Power Rehabilitation and six officials of National Skill Development Co-operation New Delhi for Technical Internship Training Programme are here to improve links between India and Japan.

The delegates have come to spread Technical Internship Training Programme to inspire the youth of state to join the skills revolution leading to valuable experience, enhance stipend and international certification along with domestic one. In 1993, TITP was initiated signifying exceptional bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of skill development.
The Japanese delegates will also train nurse in service of old age persons above 90 years. The TITP programme has given a chance to visit and received both training and services at Japan.
