India’s paramilitary forces report 750 confirmed COVID-19 cases

According to the latest reports, over the past 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases among India’s paramilitary forces have now risen 750.

The tally includes cases reported from among BSF, ITBP, CISF, CRPF and SSB.

On Sunday, a 33-year-old jawan of the National Security Guard (NSG), who is posted in Manesar, tested positive for COVID-19.

“The patient has been admitted to CAPF Hospital in Greater Noida and is asymptomatic with only mild fever,” officials informed.

It may be mentioned here that between Saturday and Sunday, the Border Security Force (BSF) reported 18 new COVID-19, taking its tally of confirmed cases to 276.

56 new cases were reported by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in the last 24 hours and the force now has 156 confirmed cases.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), however, recorded one new COVID-19 case in the past 24 hours and its tally of confirmed cases stands at 236.

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), meanwhile, reported a total of 18 confirmed cases till Sunday.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), till Sunday, has reported 64 confirmed cases and 18 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
