Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) has recently released the recruitment notification for eleven posts of Assistant Professor.
However, the posts are open only for Indian nationals from this reserved categories-SC, ST and OBC (NCL).

There are six vacancies for candidates of OBC (NCL) category, three for SC category and two for ST category.
The scientific divisions where the recruitments are currently planned include Applied Statistics Division, Computer and Communication Sciences Division, Social Sciences Division, Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research Division, Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Division.
To apply for the posts, one should have a PhD in the appropriate branch, a first-class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout.

Moreover, the applicant should also have at least 3 years (relaxable in exceptional cases) of post-Ph.D. research/teaching/ industrial experience.
For candidates with less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience, contractual Assistant Professor Grade-II position may be offered by the institute if selected.
The applicants of the OBC category must be below 38 years of age in order to be eligible to apply.
For applicants of SC and ST categories, the maximum age limit is 40 years.
One can apply for the post of Assistant Professor by June 30, 2020.

Click on the link ‘Faculty Advertisement for Reserved Categories’ present on the page.
Scroll down to the bottom and fill up the writable PDF form with the necessary details.
Apart from the writable PDF form, the following documents that need to be submitted include curriculum vitae with a list of all publications, proposed research plan, proposed teaching plan at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels, caste and/or disability certificate from the competent authority, as applicable, any other relevant information the applicant may wish to furnish and reprints of up to 5 important publications.
