A team of Indian journalists from various print and electronic media houses from Delhi and Tripura returned back to the country through the Integrated Check Post (ICP), Belonia along the India-Bangladesh international border, after four days of successful visit to Bangladesh.
On arrival at the ICP, Belonia in Tripura the team was given a warm welcome by senior Border Security Force (BSF) officials including Ajay Kumar Mishra, Offg Commandant, 168 Battalion BSF.

The visit was initiated by the BSF as a confidence building measure between the two Border Guarding Forces and friendly nations, who proceeded the plan with various government agencies to arrange the visit of mainstream media from Delhi and Tripura to Bangladesh through ICP, Belonia.
“The visit included introductory interactions with their counterpart Bangladeshi journalists on various matters connected with Indo-Bangladesh relations and meeting points coupled with visit to shipping hub, religious places, tourist destinations, sightseeing and shopping facility at Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar, amidst vibrant hospitality extended by Border Guards Bangladesh,” informed the BSF spokesperson.
