Dipankar Talukdar from Guwahati has won the title of Mister Model of the Star at the Mister Model of the World pageant held at Yangon in Myanmar on Wednesday evening.
Dipankar also bagged the subtitle of Mister Photogenic.

Dipankar represented India in the pageant held in Myanmar that witnessed participation from contestants representing 15 countries.
Notably, Dipankar was crowned Mister India – Model of the World in March earlier this year held in Bengaluru.

Twenty five years old Dipankar won this title beating 30 other finalists.
The pageant show was directed by Akshay Raichurkar, who also groomed the models besides himself being the director of several international beauty pageants.
This win made him eligible to participate in the global edition of the pageant.
The Mister Model of the World pageant is considered to be a foundation for handsome and smart men, who have a passion and commitment to showcase the beauty of this world through fashion, culture, heritage and values, while promoting peace and their individual advocacies.
Before starting his career in modeling, Dipankar was a mechanical engineering and had worked in the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME).
Dipankar did his schooling from Cotton Collegiate in Guwahati. He studied mechanical engineering from Royal School of Engineering and Technology in Guwahati. He was one of the finalists at the Mega Mister North East 2017.
