The Gujarat Postal Circle recently released a recruitment notification seeking applications for various positions like Postal Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff.

Candidates must brace up now and apply today to avoid last hour rush.

The last date of application submission for the Post Office jobs is March 20, 2020.

The postal circle released the advertisement stating, ‘Notification for appointment of Meritorious Sports persons in the Department of Posts in the cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff’.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying need to have completed 10th, 12th from a recognized Organization/Board.

Age Limit:

Those who are between 18 and 27 years are eligible to apply.

NOTE: The last date of deposit of fee in cash at any computerised Post Office in India during working hours of Post Office is 18.03.2020.

Moreover, the West Bengal Postal Circle had also released a recruitment notification and sought applications for the positions of Gramin Dak Sevaks. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions by March 18, 2020.

Total No of Posts: 2021

Age Limit (as on 18.02.2020): The minimum age limit to apply for the position is 18 years while the upper age limit for the same is 40 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying need to have Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories.

The above mentioned qualification shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.

Meanwhile, the candidates passed class X examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally.

Compulsory knowledge of Local Language: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard (as compulsory or elective subjects) as declared by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the 8th schedule of Constitution of India.
