Top Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has accused the BJP-led central government of hacking her children’s Instagram accounts.
Priyanka Gandhi made this statement while responding to a query on alleged illegal phone surveillance.
“Forget phone tapping, they (central government) are even hacking my children’s Instagram accounts. Do they have no other work?” Priyanka Gandhi said while responding to a question.
Earlier, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav had alleged that his and his party leaders’ phones were being tapped by the UP government.

Notably, the Congress had alleged that Priyanka Gandhi was one of the party’s leaders whose phones were under surveillance using the Israeli spyware Pegasus.
Priyanka Gandhi said, “The government is tapping phones instead of focusing on working for the people. They are just busy listening to phone calls of the Opposition leaders.”
Meanwhile, according to reports, the union ministry of electronics and information technology has taken cognizance of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s allegations of phone tapping.
Probe into the allegations is likely to begin soon.
