Curtains came down on the golden jubilee celebration of Sankari Kala-Kristi Bikash Kendra of Sri Sri Bhagawat Mandir of Kalaigaon in Udalguri district of Assam.
The celebration which commenced from January 29 with various cultural and religious events also witnessed release of new books, inauguration of a souvenir ‘Koustav’ among others.

A Bhagawat rally was taken out on January 31 which was inaugurated by Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Executive Member (EM), Jagadish Sarkar at 10 am.
Thousands of people joined the rally with participation of several cultural troupes of various ethnic groups in their colourful traditional attire.
In the evening an open session was held which was presided over by EM Sarkar.

Earlier, deputy Inspector of Schools, Udalguri, Santo Ram Kachari inaugurated the open session which was graced as chief guest by Kalaigaon MLA, Maheswar Boro.
Boro thanked the temple authorities for involving people of all communities in preaching the messages of Bhagawat Gita.
Speaking on the occasion as the appointed speaker, Prabhat Das, noted research scholar of Vaishnavism, talked about the need for studying various books on religion so as to understand basic knowledge and fundamental social rules and traditions of past.
