Arunachal Pradesh‘s Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak in presence of former minister Lijum Ronya and PWD superintending engineer Tumto Kamsi on Thursday laid the foundation stone for a vital steel bridge over river Siyum here.
The bridge once constructed, would connect the Kambu village with the circle headquarters and act like a lifeline for the people of the village.
Congratulating the people for the upcoming structure, Karbak said the bridge would facilitate proper communication between Kambu and the rest of Kamba circle.
“A dream has finally come true for the locals who have been facing a lot of difficulty in their day to day travel, especially during the monsoon season,” he said.
The said steel bridge would be constructed by the public works department with a total outlay of Rs 32 crore under the Central Road Fund (CRF).
Meanwhile, the locals have thanked Karbak and union minister of state form home Kiren Rijiju for bringing in development projects like such in the area.
