Former Miss India finalist Aishwarya Sheoran became a source of inspiration after she cracked the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination, 2019 with an impressive rank.

Scoring an all India rank of 93, Sheoran’s journey from the glamour of beauty pageants to realizing her dream of becoming an IAS officer was achieved after long durations of hard work.

The 23-year-old who considers modelling her hobby and civil service her true passion, didn’t join any coaching classes to prepare for the exam.

After her journey started as a successful participant in the Delhi Times Fresh Face, she went on to do modeling for many eminent fashion designers and also walk the ramp for many leading fashion shows like Amazon Fashion Week, Lakme Fashion Week among others.

However, she later decided to take a break from modeling and focus on her studies in order to realize her dream of becoming an IAS officer.

Moreover, Sheoran also went off social media so that she can completely focus on her studies.

Having worked hard without taking any coaching also, Sheoran’s efforts have been awesomely rewarded as she had managed to crack the prestigious and toughest exam of the country in her very first attempt with a high rank.

A native of Rajasthan, Sheoran completed her Class 10 and 12 in Delhi.

She graduated from Delhi’s Shri Ram College of Commerce, and now lives with her family in Mumbai.

Sheoran, whose father is a colonel in the Army, also told media that modeling has been her hobby and she always looked forward in cracking the civil services exam.

The Miss India pageant’s Twitter account shared a post Tuesday, lauding Sheoran for cracking the UPSC exam.

“Aishwarya Sheoran, Femina Miss India 2016 finalist, Campus Princess Delhi 2016, Freshface winner Delhi 2015 made us immensely proud as she scored the All India Rank 93 in the Civil Services Examination. A huge congratulations to her on this achievement!” it added.
