Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda arrived in Tripura on Friday to campaign for the BJP ahead of the crucial polls. Arriving in the state Munda addressed a gathering at Kailashar Kurti Kadamtala constituency in favour of BJP nominated candidate Tinku Roy.
Addressing the gathering Arjun Munda slammed Left Front government in the state for the poor condition of the tea garden workers as the government did not take any initiative for their development nor the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Ghar Yojana was provided to them in the last 25 years.
Munda appealed to the people to vote for BJP for the development of the state.
Tripura goes to polls on February 18 and the results will be declared on March 3.
