Agartala: In a disturbing incident in the Miapara area of Kamalasagar in Sepahijala District, a violent clash ensued between two families over the occupation of a mosque site, resulting in five people being injured, including two women from the same family.
The incident has prompted the Madhupur police station to register a case against seven individuals involved in the altercation.

Details of the incident reveal that a dispute arose over the ownership of the land designated for the construction of the mosque. Dulal Mia, a resident of the area, had generously donated the land for the mosque’s construction.
However, contention arose as the remaining portion of the mosque site was claimed to be Khas land (Government land).
Allegedly, the family of Abul Basad, a local resident, attempted to seize the mosque site for the construction of a house.

The situation escalated when Dulal Mia requested Abul Basad’s family to vacate the premises, but they reportedly refused.
This led to a heated confrontation between the two families, resulting in injuries to five members of Dulal Mia’s family.
The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at GB Hospital.
In response to the incident, a case has been filed against seven people at Madhupur police station, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the clash.
