Five films from NE to be screened at Habitat Film Festival in Delhi

Around five regional movies and one documentary will be screened in the 13th edition of the ongoing Habitat Film Festival, in New Delhi.

Habitat Film Festival began at New Delhi’s India Habitat Centre on May 17, 2018 which will continue till May 27 next.

Eminent filmmaker Utpal Borpujari’s children film ‘Ishu’, Rima Das’s ‘Village Rockstars’, Arup Manna’s ‘Ananya’ and Hijmjyoti Talukdar’s ‘Calender’ from Assam will be screened at the festival.

On the other hand Nagaland film maker Tiakuzuk Aier’s ‘NANA- A Tale of Us’ and Anushka Meenakshi and Iswar Srikumar’s documentary ‘Up Down and Sidaways’ will also be screened in the festival.

Eminent film critic and scholar Aruna Vasudev inaugurated the festival.

The festival focused on the National award-winning and critically acclaimed films this year across India.
