The husband and the father-in-law of a woman have been arrested for sexually harassing and forcing to drink chicken’s blood on the directions of a self-proclaimed Goodman in Maharashtra.
They were arrested based on a complaint filed by the 33-year-old victim, Hindustan Times reported.
The woman said that her husband was impotent and her in-laws hid it from her.
She alleged that her father-in-law tried to force himself upon her to impregnate her.
She said when she found out about her husband’s impotence, she told her relatives about it.
Following which she was physically assaulted by her in-laws.
“He is a diploma engineer and she has a bachelor’s degree. They have been living separately for the past four months after being married since December 30, 2018. We will investigate all claims made in the complaint. We have arrested the two,” HT quoted Inspector Jitendra Kadam of Bhosari police station as saying.
The woman in her complaint said she was mentally and physically abused by her in-laws since 2018.
The duo has been booked under Section 3 of Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2013 at Bhosari police station.
