With the latest facility, DTDC has further strengthened its ability to efficiently meet the increasing demand for logistical services in the Northeast as e-commerce transactions in the region are growing at the moment, said a DTDC press communique.

The infrastructural addition will help to create more employment opportunities for the people in the northern region, empower industrialists and entrepreneurs from a number of domains and augment the region’s economic growth substantially.

Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Abhishek Chakraborty said, “During the past couple of years, the Northeast has registered great numbers, specifically in the demand for e-commerce services, which validates newer establishments in the State.”

“Pamohi is a strategic location that helps us to connect with many regions across the State and beyond, thereby allowing us to optimize the returns from every pin code in the region,” he added.

Meanwhile, the DTDC Express Ltd donated Rs 5 lakh to Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in view of the recent devastating floods in the State.
