Resurgent Northeast

The DoNER Ministry has launched a video contest dubbing it as Resurgent Northeast Video Contest.

The Union DoNER Minister Dr Jitendra Singh in his official Twitter handle urged participants to join the contest and make it a success.

Dr Singh tweeted: #NorthEast Ministry @MDoNER_India starts  #ResurgentNortheast #VideoContest . Please participate in huge numbers and win splendid cash prizes.

The contest carries cash rewards of Rs 1,50,000 for the winner and Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 75,000 for the second and third best entries respectively.

According to the terms and conditions laid down for the contest, entries should correspond to the meaning that emerges from the following hashtags:

#NeonedevelopmentFasttrack

The contest will run for the next 60 days.

According to the criteria laid down, a participant cannot send more than five videos of minimum one minute and maximum of five minutes duration.

Some of the other guidelines include:

Video size should not exclude 5 MB

Title and description mandatory while uploading the video

Participants must like the official facebook handle: https://www.facebook.com/MdonerIndia/

The criteria clears states that without liking the page, entries will not be considered.

The winners will be decided based on maximum likes and committee decision with equal ratio of 50 per cent of likes and 50 per cent of committee decision.

The participants are also directed to upload the videos in their own time with the hashtags:

The criteria also states that entries will not be considered without fulfilling this requirement.

The guideline also states that a single video cannot be uploaded by different entrants.

It is also notified that the DoNER Ministry will have right to use the uploaded videos for further communication.
