China seems to have been consolidating its build up along the north bank of Pangong Tso Lake.
This has come to light following satellite images of the same began circulating in the social media.
Jack Detsch, reporter at Foreign Policy magazine, shared the one satellite image which was taken in October this year.
The new satellite imagery was captured by US-based space firm Maxar Technologies in October.
The images indicate Chinese consolidation at the backup position between Finger 8 and Sirijap.

Chinese and Indian tanks were stationed within firing distance of one other near the area in early 2021, per Indian media.

When this satellite image is compared with another set of imagery released earlier by Maxar, shows that China has solidified its build-up in the period of seven months.

On the other hand, what seems to be a helipad, has also been constructed at Finger 8.
