The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the result of Class 12.

As per the reports, 83.4 percent students passed CBSE 12th exams this year. Hansika Shukla of DPS Meerut Road in Gaziabad and Karishma Arora NC Public School in Muzaffarnagar were declared the toppers. Both the girls secured 99 percent marks.

CBSE officials informed Trivandrum topped among districts with 98.2 per cent, followed by Chennai region 92.93 pass percentage and Delhi region 91.87% pass percentage.

A total of 31,14,821 candidates had registered for Class 10 and Class 12 board examination this year including 28 transgender.

The exams were held at 4,974 centres across India and 78 centres abroad. The CBSE Board had conducted the annual examination for class 10 and class 12 in the month of February-March 2019.
