Clarifying on his frequent change of parties, Byaling said that it is the nature of politics and is done according to the wishes of the workers and supporters.
He also said that he will never join the BJP as the party’s ideologies do not match with his ideologies.
Byaling won from the Nacho Assembly seat in Upper Subansiri district for five consecutive terms.
Byaling, who had held the rural development and panchayat raj portfolios under the Khandu-led government, was dropped from the cabinet along with Rajesh Tacho and Takam Pario in January 2017.
He then went on to join the NPP, along with six other MLAs of the Peoples Party of Arunachal (PPA) in July last year, and was the party leader.
APCC is ready to fight from 60 Assembly seats and may also consider poll alliance in a few seats with parties like PPA and Janata Dal (Secular).
