Coronavirus threat: Board examinees allowed to carry masks, sanitizers

Students appearing for class 10 and 12 board examination will be allowed to carry masks and hand sanitizer in the exam centre in view of coronavirus threat.

This was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday.

“Face masks and sanitisers may be carried by students in the examination centre,” CBSE secretary Anurag Tripathi was quoted as saying.

Class 10 and 12 board examinations began on February 15.

The Italian tourists and their Indian guide arrived here in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday evening by road after travelling by a train to Jhansi from Agra, they said.

They were taken to a quarantine facility set up at Naugaon town.
