The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) created history in Tripura after coming to power by ending the Left Front’s 25-year rule in Tripura. And to celebrate the victory both the parties have started taking out victory rallies.

In the Tripura Assembly polls 2018 results of which were declared on March 3, 2018 by the Election Commission of India, the BJP won 35 seats and IPFT got 8 seats in the 60-member Tripura Assembly, while the CPI(M) was able to get only 16 seats.

After coming to power, the BJP has started taking out victory rallies in different parts of the State.

To mark the victory of in the State, a victory rally was jointly organized by the IPFT and BJP on Sunday which was joint by party leaders and supporters of the winning candidates of 27 Kalyanpur Promodenagar – Pinaki Das Chowdhury of the BJP and 24 Ramchandranagar Assembly constituency – Prasanta Debbarma of the IPFT.

The joint victory rally was taken out at Kalyanpur in West Tripura district.

Huge numbers of supporters and members of the BJP participated in the rally.

The victory rally began with the recitation of the ‘Bhagwat Geeta’. The rally was participated by a huge number of tribal people.

The rally was also joined by people from North Maharani, Deochara, Gungraichara and other places.
