In a shocking and bizarre incident, unidentified miscreants allegedly murdered a woman at Boupara under Panbari Police Station in Chirang district of Assam on Tuesday.

As per reports, miscreants beheaded the woman while she was working in a cultivation field and also chopped of different body parts including her hands.

The victim has been identified as one Shahida Khatun. She is survived by two children and her husband Amir Hamja.

Later, police officials from Panbari Police Station and Bijni Police Station reached the spot and took the body in their custody.

Later, the body of the victim was sent for post mortem.

Meanwhile police have begun a massive hunt to nab the killers.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on.

Meanwhile, the incident has sent shockwaves across the region.
