Ved Aditya Kalita of Pulin Das-India Club Tennis Academy, Guwahati won double crowns in the Sivasagar Open All Assam Prize Money Tennis Tournament-2021.

Kalita won the Boys’ Singles under 18 and 14 years titles of the tournament organised by the Sibsagar Tennis Club.

The tournament was held under the auspices of the All Assam Tennis Association from January 27-31.

Ved Aditya annexed the Boys’ Singles (under 18 years) title defeating Shahin Farhaz of Jorhat 6-1, 6-2.

In the Boys’ Singles (under 14 years) Ved defeated Aryan Bora from Golaghat 6-4, 6-3 in the finals.

Ved, partnering Aryan Bora, also became the runners-up in the Men’s Doubles.

They lost to Tutu Thapa and Sudhant Mohanty of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) 2-6, 3-6 in the final.
