Assam Rifles troops have nabbed a 38-year-old cadre belonging to ULFA (I) from Jagun area along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border in the Tinsukia district.
The ULFA (I) rebel was arrested on Tuesday during an operation at Tinkupani reserve forest in Jaguan along the inter-state border.

The arrested rebel has been identified as Girindra Chetia alias Pabitra Asom. Chetia hails from Jangani village under Bordubi police station in Tinsukia district.
A 9 mm pistol and three rounds of live ammunition were found on the detained militant.
