It has deemed it fit to provide skill development training to youths of the backward region to prevent them from ashtray into the ranks of insurgent groups. The Army engaged in the counter-insurgency operation have realized that so long educated unemployed youths of the state remain jobless the problem of insurgency could not be solved permanently only by the use of arms power .
The Commanding Officer of the Red Horns Division recently distributed certificates to the first batch of eleven youths including young girl from the insurgency-hit Udalguri following their successful completion of their training programme that had started in the month of September.
