Students in Assam are alleging a massive scam in the UGC’s Ishan Uday Scholarship, 2021.
Many abnormalities have been detected in the beneficiary list of the scholarship.
While, on many instances it has been noticed that a beneficiary’s name is repeated several times against different father’s name.
Many such pictures are doing the rounds in the social media now, where abnormalities in regard to beneficiary names, beneficiary’s father’s name, religion among others.

On the other hand, students are also crying foul play over the selection of as many as 238 beneficiaries from one college in Barpeta district of Assam – Victoria Inter College.
