Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) Guwahati, has collaborated with NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning for an outreach programme at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, on startups by women at IIE.
The program will help 25-30 aspiring women to convert their ideas into business ventures.
It is a six month online course, a 10-day bootcamp at IIE, residential bootcamp at IIM and a yearlong business incubation support at NSRCEL.
They will provide training in managerial and entrepreneurial skills. At the completion there will be mentoring, advice and incubation with financial support to the entrepreneurs.
Bharath Raj Sreeram, Program Manager, and Dheepti Jayasinha NSRCEL faculty member were the representatives from IIMB present at the event.
Dr Sriparna B Baruah, Head of the Centre for Industrial Extension of IIE Guwahati started the session with her welcome speech and said it was a very unique opportunity for the woman entrepreneurs of the region.
The IIMB representatives also spoke on the occasion.
