The talent of Kaustav B Arya, a ninth standard student and young scientist from Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, an Assamese medium school in Guwahati‘s Noonmati area, has been able to draw the attention of Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
It may be mentioned that the Class IX student of a private school in the city has been invited to participate in the 31st Material Science Conference: Advancement and Innovations held in Finland and the World Magnetic Material Summit scheduled to be held in Italy.

The news of Arya, who is an undergraduate member of the American Physical Society, who has got a chance to pursue research at Google headquarters, has already become a topic of discussion across the State.
According to information, the student will attend the two international conferences as the youngest participant.
Arya has been selected to participate in the two international conferences for his research works in ‘Naval Vest’ and ‘Theory of Direction’. While the conference in Finland has begun on October 15 and the conference in Italy will begin from October 21.

Assam Chief Minister Sonowal, after coming to know about the talent of the young student, on Tuesday stated on his Twitter handle: “Glad to learn about Kaustav B Arya, a 9th standard student of Assam Jatiya Bidyalay being selected for two international science meets across the world based on his works on Theory of Direction & Naval Vest.”
“My best wishes to the young scientist for this brilliant journey ahead,” he added.
