Police on Thursday apprehended six youths—three boys and three girls—in Tezpur for their alleged involvement in a sex racket.
Police said the three girls, who hail from Arunachal Pradesh, were running a sex racket in a rented house at Ketekibari area in Tezpur.

Police said locals on Thursday night caught them in an objectionable situation in a car bearing registration number AS-12, AL–2277 here and handed them over to Kocharigaon police.
Police registered a case (No 215/18) under section 354/34 of the IPC against the three boys and arrested them.
The youths were identified as Sharukh Ahmed, 25, Ashraaful Hussain, 24, and Imran Hussain, 24, of Tezpur.
