The youth has also made several sensational revelations in the video clip that has become viral on various social media platforms.

In the video he said, “As a representative of the new generation, I believe there is no alternative to an independent and sovereign Assam.”

He ‘lamented’ that Assam has always been at the receiving end of those at the helm of power in New Delhi and has always been ‘begging on its knees’ to get its legitimate share from the Central Government.

On a rather confident note he also said, “I would like to remind those who believe that the ULFA-I is just a handful. But it is because of the sacrifices made by this handful of revolutionaries that every Assamese is taking pride in their ethnic identity today.”

The news of his disappearance had also appeared in sections of media and the family had also circulated the news in several social media platforms seeking information about his whereabouts.

Moreover, the facebook account where the video has been posted also raises several eyebrows about its authenticity.

Several comments in his support can be seen below the post posted in the timeline of the facebook account.

The account also exhibits innumerable posts glorifying ULFA-I, several photographs are also posted and shared by many.

All these have shaken concerned circles across the State with several uncomfortable questions storming the minds, like is the present political scenario that is posing serious threat to the existence of the Assamese community is prompting the new generation to take up an armed rebellion yet again?

On the other hand, reports also came in a few days back about several youths from eastern Assam joining the ULFA-I.
