A Special Squad of Guwahati Police with the assistance of Delhi Police Special Cell arrested cocaine supplier Bishal Choudhury in Delhi in connection with the Kharghuli rave party in Guwahati.
Informing about the arrest, Guwahati Police on its Twitter handle on Saturday said the investigation into the Kharguli drugs case led to the arrest of cocaine supplier Bishal Choudhury, who was traced to Delhi.

He was brought to Guwahati on Saturday.

On August 13 night, on the basis of specific inputs over a drug party, a Special Squad of Guwahati Police, led by senior police officers raided a flat in Riviera Apartments at Kharghuli in Guwahati.
During the raid, cocaine, 3 types of weed & opium were recovered from the premises.
In connection with the seizure, the police arrested 18 people, who were enjoying the rave party.
The rave party was organised on the third floor of the Riviera Apartments, the residence of businessman Vikash Jain.
The accused claimed they gathered in the apartment to celebrate the birthday of one Amit Baruah.
A case was registered at the Latasil police station and the police started an investigation and it led to the arrest of the cocaine supplier Bishal Choudhury in Delhi.
