Rashtrapati Bhawan invitation to NE residents for exposure trip

The Rashtrapati Bhawan authorities have invited residents of the north-eastern region for an exposure trip to the official residence of the President of the country situated at Lutyen Hill, New Delhi on Febuary 2 next at 2:00 pm.

The programme for the people of the region residing in Delhi and NCR is being organized on the occasion of Rashtrapati Bhawan Day.

The programme will start with a formal welcome at State Ceremonial Parade Ground by Robin Hibu IPS, Joint Commissioner of Rashtrapati Bhawan followed by briefing by the chief guide on the history of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The guided tour will give exposure to the visitors of the historic buildings and artefacts inside the Rashtrapati Bhawan building and the 373 rooms where British kings, queens, lords, viceroys, presidents and princes lived.

A walk in the majestic Mughal Garden is also in the itinerary.

Group photographs will be taken by the official photographers of Rashtrapati Bhawan as private photography is not allowed inside the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The guests will also be entertained with tea and unique biscuits prepared at the kitchen of the palace.

The send-off of the guests will be done at the South Wing of Rashtrapati Bhawan, where vehicles will be lined up for departure.

The Joint Commissioner of the Rashtrapati Bhawan through a communique has asked willing North-eastern residents of Delhi and NCR to confirm their visit along with the number of family members through SMS or whatsapp at the number 9810083486.
