Daimary’s lawyer Manas Konwar, meanwhile, alleged that the former NDF chief was initially taken to Jagiroad COVID hospital but had to be shifted to MMCH due to the lack of beds at Jagiroad.

Reacting to this, IGP (Jail) Dasarat Das, however, denied the matter regarding no seat in Jagiroad hospital.

Das said that Daimary was directly sent to MMCH.
