Union minister Rameshwar Teli has stroked a major controversy surrounding high prices of fuel including petrol and diesel.
Teli said that free distribution of COVID-19 vaccines is the reason behind high prices of fuel in the country.
“Fuel prices aren’t high but include the tax levied. You must’ve taken a free vaccine, where will the money come from? You haven’t paid the money, this is how it was collected,” Union MoS (Petroleum & Natural Gas) Rameswar Teli said.
Meanwhile, this statement from the union minister did not go down well among netizens across the country.
