But Bobbeeta Sharma, the chairperson of the media department of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), termed the news as “not true” and “completely baseless”.

Assam Congress leader Sharma said during her conversation with Pradyut Bordoloi regarding the news report, the MP had told that the news was “baseless”.
Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday night met all the MPs from the state, including Pradyut Bordoloi as a courtesy.

Sarma uploaded the photographs, clicked with the MPs, on the social media platforms.
In those photographs, chief minister Sarma is also seen with other MPs like Kaliabor MP Gaurav Gogoi, Rajya Sabha MPs Ripun Bora and Ajit Bhuyan.

Bobbeeta Sharma said as Bordoloi met Himanta Biswa Sarma for the first time after he took charge as the chief minister of the state, he presented a bouquet of flowers as a courtesy.
