โ€œIt is always risky to drive at a high speed at any time of the day. The driver was in a hurry and that too at peak hours. He was inviting trouble,โ€ said Azad Hussain, a resident of Adabari.

โ€œI live just beside the Adabari mosque. I have a tailoring shop here. Every day I witness at least a dozen accidents- some normal while a few fatal,โ€ he added.

โ€œThe drivers- both four-wheelers and two-wheelers- drive rashly due to which accidents like these have become common,โ€ Hussain further said.

A case has been registered against the bus and the police are on the look-out for the driver and his assistant.
