“We have appealed to all the members of the committee to oppose the Bill as it stands against the sentiments and interests of the indigenous people of the state,” AGP president Atul Bora said.

Bora reiterated that neither Hindus nor Muslims who have entered into Assam after March 24, 1971 will allow staying in the state.

The AGP leaders met all other members of the JPC and appealed them to oppose the Bill.
