NHM Assam office manager Badan Das dies of COVID-19

Corona warrior – Badan Das, an official of National Health Mission (NHM), Assam has died of COVID-19. 

Badan Das, office manager of NHM Assam, died due to COVID-19 on Thursday. 

Badan Das breathed his last at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH). 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed grief at the demise of Badan Das.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted: “Deeply saddened at the demise of Badan Das, Office Manager at NHM, who succumbed to COVID at GMCH today. He will be remembered for the yeoman’s service he rendered at the Guwahati Airport during the pandemic. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Prayers for the family.”
