NF Railway (Northeast Frontier Railway) has decided to resume four pairs of daily DEMU special services from this week for the benefit of local passengers.

These daily DEMU specials will resume between Siliguri junction – New Bongaigaon, New Bongaigaon–Guwahati, Guwahati– Haibargaon and Guwahati – Silghat Town stations, said a statement.

Timings and stoppages of these trains will remain the same as notified earlier, it added.

Moreover, stoppage of the special train (No. 05928/05927) running between New Tinsukia and Rangia has been provided at Dikom station to facilitate parcel loading on experimental from Tuesday for a period of three months.

Services of Train No. 07525/07526 Siliguri junction – New Bongaigaon – Siliguri junction daily DEMU services will resume leaving Siliguri junction with effect from September 15 and leaving New Bongaigaon with effect from September 18.

Services of Train No. 07523/07524 New Bongaigaon – Guwahati – New Bongaigaon daily DEMU services will resume leaving New Bongaigaon with effect from September 16 and leaving Guwahati with effect from Sept 17.

Services of Train No. 07527/07528 Guwahati – Haibargaon Guwahati daily DEMU services will resume with effect from September 16.

Services of Train No. 07529/07530 Guwahati – Silghat Town – Guwahati daily DEMU services will resume leaving Guwahati with effect from September 16 and leaving Silghat Town with effect from September 17.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway, said NF Railway CPRO Guneet Kaur.

Kaur said that during the train journeys and on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state.

All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regards, said the CPRO.
